Beige is a light sand colour with a pearly sheen, warmer than white and calmer than gold. Next to white bedding you see the difference at once; next to cream the pillowcase almost disappears into it. The shade is at home in a bedroom with earth tones, rattan and plenty of daylight. We make Beige in two sizes: this one and 60x70.

The silk pillowcase 40x80 in Beige is made for the oblong pillow of 40 by 80 centimetres. If in doubt, measure the long side of your pillow: it should be 80 centimetres. A hidden zip closes the case.

Why silk?

  • Gentle on your hair. The smooth surface causes less friction while you sleep. That helps limit tangles and is kind to the ends of your hair.
  • Gentle on your skin. Silk feels soft against your face and absorbs less moisture than cotton, which helps your skin keep its moisture.
  • Comfort in every season. Mulberry silk is naturally breathable and temperature-regulating: cool in summer, warm in winter.

Washing and care

  • Wash the pillowcase in a laundry bag on a delicate or silk cycle, at no more than 30 °C and 400 rpm.
  • Use a pH-neutral silk detergent, without fabric softener or bleach.
  • Let it air-dry out of direct sunlight, and do not tumble-dry.
  • Iron on the lowest setting, on the inside.
