Are silk pillowcases suitable for people who sleep hot?

Often, yes. Silk can feel cooler in many cases and can regulate temperature and moisture in a comfortable way, which may help hot sleepers wake up feeling less sticky. It is not a miracle solution though. If your duvet is too warm or your room has poor ventilation, you will still feel hot.

A silk pillowcase can make the contact area around your face and neck more comfortable. Pay attention to thickness: a very high momme weight can feel slightly warmer than a lighter option. If you sleep extremely hot, also consider breathable bedding materials such as linen or percale cotton, and a cooler pillow.
